Valley Community for Recycling Solutions is a community and volunteer based organization serving the residents and businesses of the Mat-Su Borough and the communities connected along the road system. VCRS works with our Borough to reduce the negative impacts of landfilling by recovering resources from the waste stream, with a commitment to make those resources available for local economic development. VCRS provides the opportunity to recycle and educates all ages on the benefits of recycling.

Here at Valley Community for Recycling Solutions, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 1998, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs. VCRS is a drop off facility for your sorted recyclables. Your time and effort to sort is what makes this program possible. Please refer to guidelines for each category. Questions are welcome. Manufacturers are making something new with the recyclables you drop off at VCRS. Help us help them have great material to work with by making sure your recyclables are empty, clean, and put in the right place when you drop them off with us.
